Description of Expertise:

My research focuses on molecular diagnostics, population genetics, and biological control of invasive species in agriculture. Specifically, I am interested in the movement and spread of invasive pests, and the detection of trophic interactions between pests and their parasitoids, as well as between different parasitoid species that attack the same host.

Countries: Canada, Switzerland

States: Hawaii

Species: Terrestrial Invertebrates, Brown marmorated stink bug (Halyomorpha halys), Leek moth (Acrolepiopsis assectella), Spotted-wing drosophila (Drosophila suzukii), Swede midge (Contarinia nasturtii),

Ecosystems: Agricultural

Research Areas: Impacts (ecological), Management techniques (biological control), Risk assessment
