Description of Expertise:

One aspect of my research is on the colonization dynamics of invasive plant species in urban ecosystems. I am also involved in a project studying the dynamics of invasion in the understory of experimentally manipulated forest plots. A third project is on the effectiveness of different management techniques for Japanese knotweed and the consequences of that management on wetland vegetation.
