This year, the New York Invasive Species Research Institute is partnering with the North American Invasive Species Management Association (NAISMA) to host a joint North American invasive species conference.  The goal of this conference is to increase collaboration and information sharing across regions, and between research and practitioner communities presentations will cover a wide range of invasive organisms and North American habitats, highlighting efforts in the Northeast. This year’s conference theme is “Connecting Science to Action” and sessions will cover policy, prevention, control techniques, biocontrol, restoration, climate change, decision science, and other special topics.

The NAISMA-NYISRI conference will take place September 30th – October 3rd at the Saratoga Hilton in Saratoga Springs, NY.
