Description of invasive species management work:

I am a biological technician for the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge and I am responsible for managing invasive species on the approximately 10,000 acres of the refuge. Some of the managed species include common reed, swallow-wort, common buckthorn, Japanese stiltgrass, Japanese knotweed, and flowering rush among others.
