Description of Expertise:

My research involves early detection on invasive species through extensive field inventory as part of my responsibilities as Ontario County Botanist. I also monitor fall standing crop biomass of aquatic macrophytes to track the ecological impact of aquatic invasives on the productivity of lacustrine communities. I provide training workshops on the identification of invasives to college students and citizen scientists.
