In honor of New York’s 2015 Invasive Species Awareness Week (ISAW), Kelsey Poljacik, a senior at Cornell University, has set up an informational table at the Cornell Plantations’ Nevin Welcome Center.  A collaboration between the New York Invasive Species Research Institute, Cornell Plantations, and Cornell Cooperative Extension, this table features pamphlets, posters, and handouts including general information about invasive species, ISAW, as well as fact sheets on specific plant and animal species.

Also on display is information on Poljacik’s own research project looking at allelopathy in Lesser Celandine (Ranunculus ficaria).  The table is located in the front lobby of the Nevin Welcome Center and open for visitors Tuesday-Saturday from 9:30am-5pm.
